The 2024 Hockey Australia Men’s Masters National Championships will be held in Hobart, TAS, from 12th July to 27th July 2024, with specific age groups competing as follows:
- 34+ to 50+ (incl): 12 to 20 Jul 24 (incl)(training in Hobart on 11 Jul 24 TBC)
- 55+ to 65+ (incl): 16 to 27 Jul 24 (incl)(training in Hobart on 16/17 Jul 24 TBC)(Note: HA have advised a staggered start. Final details will not be known until a draw is released)
- 70+ to 75+ (incl): 14 to 27 Jul 24 (incl)(training in Hobart TBC)
ACT are entering teams in the 34+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+ and 70+ age groups.
Successful nominees are advised that the training scheduled on respective days in Hobart, as indicated above, is compulsory.
All matches will be played at the Tasmanian Hockey Centre (THC).

Upon submission of the electronic nomination below you will be considered for selection in your relevant age group, after agreeing to pay those fees levied by ACT Masters Hockey Association.

Player Costs for Hobart
A deposit of $250.00 is due on nominating to secure your place in the Team, and must be received by NLT 1 Mar 24 to be eligible for consideration by the Selection Committee. Nominees who are not selected will be refunded their deposit.
The Team Player Levy for 2024 will be approximately $650. The levy covers the team’s entry fee; Medical Support Staff including their travel, accommodation, and materials; support staff; trophies and gifts for opposition teams, best and fairest trophies for ACT Teams; and hospitality drinks.
The Team Levy for 2024 is due by 15 Apr 2024. Successful nominees will be invoiced for the balance of outstanding fees. Levies not paid by this time will result in the withdrawal of non-payees.
Accommodation and transport to and from Hobart is the responsibility of each player and team official.
Accommodation Options
The Association has booked accommodation at the Mantra on Collins, in the Hobart CBD, and Riverside Motel and Villas, Rosetta, from11 Jul to the completion of the tournament.
Uniforms
With effect 1 Jan 24, ACT Masters Hockey is required to conform to a standardized Hockey ACT playing uniform. This means ALL players will be required to purchase a new playing shirt, shorts and socks. Details, including availability of “try on” sizing items, will be provided to selected teams by the Uniform Coordinator after the announcement on 28 Mar 24.
Players and Officials may continue to wear the current (new) ACT Masters off-field apparel. Those wishing to obtain new off-field apparel will be required to purchase the new Hockey ACT items. Old and outdated off-field apparel can no longer be used at games.
NOTE: Separate nomination forms are required for those wishing to nominate for more than one age group or for multiple positions (player / coach / manager).
